With an adjustable waist and lined to ¾ of the leg, all inside seams are bound; our long trousers are designed for comfort. External buttons are printed with our name, internal buttons are pantone dyed to match our lining. The ‘JOE.G’ brand name and company logo can be found on the left hand leg seam at the base of the pocket. They launder beautifully and are Teflon (trademark) coated to repel water and oil based spills and are not quick to crease, maintaining the longevity of their look.

Deep frog-mouthed front pockets have the propensity to hold all necessary items (within reason!); golf balls, tees, chocolate wrappers ……

Back pockets are wide enough to hold the all-important opponent’s score card with an optional button-down pocket for extra security and style.

All pockets, belt loops and zip areas are bar tacked for extra durability and strength to help combat the urgency of use.

Our ‘Bob’ comes with an unfinished leg length so you can tailor them to your own needs and build in a little room for growth if you’d like.

Joseph Garratt’s Top Tip: very often as trousers don’t get that soiled in a round of golf, we just pop them onto a 30 degree, 15 minute quick wash to freshen them up and hang vertically from the waist with a trouser hanger as the care instructions suggest. A very light steam iron press is then all that’s needed to restore them in readiness for the next outing x

Our plus twos don’t have a centre crease and we find if you take them out of the washer in good time and hang them vertically, they don’t need to be ironed.

Joseph Garratt Top Tips: Hats rarely need washing! Although our hats are machine washable at 30 degrees, a quick sloose through by hand in some cool water with a splash of fragrant hand wash liquid is all that’s needed to freshen it up.  A quick, gentle spin then reshape and dry flat sandwiched between towels overnight. Towels of a similar colour are recommended to avoid any unnecessary bleed of dyes x

We have chosen a simple, classic crew neck made in 100% Australian Merino sheep Wool which is renowned for its softness and non-itchy quality. Merino Wool is breathable; offering warmth in the winter and the ability to transfer heat from the body in summer. The Wool is spun in Austria and then translated into garments for us by one of Scotland’s oldest knitwear manufacturers. The style is deliberately plain to compliment (and not compete with) our beautifully tailored trousers.

Our Joseph Garratt logo is embroidered onto the right hand upper third of the sleeve. This jumper looks equally good with a crisp cotton shirt and jeans or chinos, as it does on the golf course.

Our socks are made in England and have been designed in two colourways for each of our Joseph Garratt tartan plus twos.

Made from 58/40/2, Nylon/Cotton/Lycra, they have our Joseph Garratt logo on the foot and are deliberately without pattern so as not to compete with ‘George’.

A natural, breathable cotton foot with unique cotton cushion panelling to the forefoot and heel, and elastic ankle support make them a comfortable wear around the golf course.

Joseph Garratt’s Top Tips: Concertina the sock in your fingers to help ease them onto your foot on first wear.  Follow the care instructions and give them a little stretch in length and width to help reshape them whilst damp x
